Journey to Barabai
Posted by newbiekidApr 13
Barabai is the capital of Middle River regency, which is geographically located in the north of Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. Distance 160 km from Banjarmasin, about 4 hours in the car. Apam Barabai is typically enough food in this city.
8 Apr 2009, i started the journey to Barabai and of course with my sweety
. I was fly from Soekarno-Hatta international airport with the destination in Sepinggan Airport of Balikpapan. After that i continue the journey to Barabai using bus and it’s about 10 hours (so long journey but nice journey
)
At the morning 9 April i was arrived at Barabai City and we (I and my sweety) was met by her mother.
Then i go to her home and introduced to members of the family like Father, cousin, uncle and grandma. In there i was greeted very kindly, that’s make me very comfortable.
I rest a moment with a bath and then search for food in the Janai mother stalls, the food very well. I order the sate chicken roasted on skewer, but it’s not like the usually because of the size of very large chicken meat.
10 April morning i went to traditional market with my sweety and her mother. Many kinds of fish that are sold here from haruan, sapat siam, lais, patin, biawan etc. After that her mother cooking the fish for us and …… hhmmmm this is very delicious, thanks mom.
11 April, we (I, my sweety, mother and father and 1 cousin) went to aunt home at Banjarmasin by car. Trip to Banjarmasin through 6 districts namely Kandangan, Rantau, Binuang, Martapura, Banjarbaru and Banjarmasin. In Banjarmasin we layover at Soto Banjar stalls Pak Amat. The atmosphere is very nice because it float in the river and of course taste of soto… MakNyuussss.
Finally, 12 April I must go back to Jakarta again to keep working for the future. So also with my sweety, she is back to Tanjung Selor. I will never forgot that Journey, because that is my first time i meet with her mother and family (hopefully became my family).
Thanks to my sweety and all of her family, thanks to mom which she is cooking delicious food for me.
See you again my sweety, miz you….

Can I just say what a relief to find somebody who actually is aware of what theyre speaking about on the internet. You positively know the right way to convey an issue to mild and make it important. Extra folks need to read this and understand this aspect of the story. I cant consider youre no more in style since you positively have the gift.
